-woman more likely to be worried ab burglary and violent crime
-woman likely to be victims of sexual assault

-only 1 in 12 supreme court judges is a female
how might being a victim of crime lead females to become criminals ?
-experience of long term abuse may lead to a range of mental health issues e.g depression and PTSD and sucide
-experience “diminshed resp” whereby they commit a crime e.g kill partner as they arent fully in control of their actions

what is the feminist view
-issues would be solved if CJS was better at looking at violence against women and girls
-male perpetrators of domestic violence can use CJS as additonal means of exerting power
-police officers use position as a weapon to crimninalise their victims
what do difference feminsits say
-black,Asian and minority more likely to be affected as well as those w learning disabilities
