A
  1. Entrapment/compression of the tibial nerve
    *occurs medially, posterior to medial malleolus

What is the presentation?

A
  1. Varies
  2. Will be vague complaints
    *diffusive pain, pain at medial ankle, difficult to localize, tingling/burning
  3. Worse at night

A
  1. Tenderness over the Tarsal tunnel +Tinel’s
  2. May have decreased sensation over plantar foot (tibial nerve distribution)
