A
Due to narrowing of the spinal canal with compression of nerve roots

What are the symptoms
A
Rapid or insidious onset
With or without back pain
Fatigue or leg weakness
Better if they lean forward

What tests to order
A
X-rays (ap, lat)
*show spondylolisthesis, narrowing of the disc
MRI

What is the treatment
A
NSAIDS
PT
Epidural injections
Surgery if decreasing quality of life
