   *to determine partial or full thickness

What is the non surgical treatment

1. Casted in plantar flexion
   *will gradually increase to neutral for over 12 weeks
   *better for partial tears

1. Open surgery
   *casting in plantar flexion
   *progress through heel lifts and bracing for 8-12 weeks
