What is the typically presentation of tennis elbow

A
  1. 35-50 years old
  2. Gradual onset
  3. Repetitive wrist extension activities
  4. Progressively worsens for most patients without treatments
    *can be diagnosed clinically

What will be on the PE?

A
  1. Tender over and distal to the lateral epicondyle
    *elbow at 90 with forearm pronated
  2. Pain and weakness with testing of wrist extensors against resistance
    *pain lifting with palm down

What type of diagnostic test are completed?

A
  1. Radiographs
