Myxedema
A
Hypothyroidism in older children or adults that will have weight gain with normal appetite, muscle weakness and cold intolerance with decreased sweating.

What are classic areas for myxedema?
A
Larynx and tongue which leads to deepening of the voice and enlargement of the tongue

- Iodine defiency
- Hashimoto thyroiditis
