Hypospadias
Opening of the urethra on the inferior side of the penis due to failure of the urethral folds to close
Epispadias
Opening of the urethra on the superior side of the penis due to abnormal positioning of genital tubercle - more rare than hypospadias
Condyloma Acuminatum
Due to HPV-6 or 11 and has koilocytes
Lymphogranuloma Venereum
Necrotizing granulomatous inflammation of inguinal lymphatics due to C. trachomatis
SCC of the Penis
Malignant proliferation of squamous cells of the penile skin
What are risk factors for SCC of the penis?
- High risk HPV
- Lack of circumcision
Bowen Disease
In situ carcinoma the presents as leukoplakia - not yet invaded the basement membrane
Erythroplasia of Queyrat
Precursor to SCC and presents as erythroplasia on the glans penis
Bowenoid Papulosis
Reddish papules that are in situ carcinoma that do not progress to invasion normally
