affects ages 10-50
found incidentally or with pathologic fx
what is an osteochondroma?
most common benign bone tumor
cartilage is separated from physis during growth and sxs occur due to mass effect of tumor
what is the most common primary sarcoma of bone?
osteosarcoma
what is the usual course of action for benign bone tumors?
do nothing
serial MRIs to ensure it does not develop into something malignant
