Q

Where are the ventricles of the brain

A

the right and left lateral vents are in the mid brain
the third vent is also in the midbrain slightly posterior to the lateral vents
the fourth vent is in the brain stem

Q

What is the pathway of the CSF

A

the CSF flows from the lateral ventricles into the third ventricle through the interventricular foramen, from the ventricle the CSF flows to the fourth ventricle through the cerebral aquaduct (sylvius), from the fourth CSF flow into the subarachnoid space, the CSF then returns into the vascular system by flowing into the supersagittal sinus
