- heart
- cardiac ischaemia
- coronary artery disease
- hypopituitarism
- must give cortisol to prevent Addison’s disease

- arrhythmias

- restlessness

Interactions (4)

- antacids, iron, calcium and salt
- reduce absorption
- admin 4 hrs gap
- cytochrome P450 inducers
- increase levothyroxine
e. g. phenytoin - diabetics
- increases insulin requirements - warfarin
- enhances it’s effects
