At escalating or prolonged incidents. On-deck personnel should be assigned as early as possible to the On-deck sectors, when it is expected that work will need to continue beyond the work cycle of the initial personnel in the hot zone.

2- Assemble personnel with PPE, SCBA and one additional air cylinder per FF.
3- Bring additional equipment as required including a TIC, spare RIT equipment and tools the the On-DEcl location
4- Notify the IC once they have arrived at their On-Deck assignment
5- Determine location of personnel working in the hot zone
6- Assess building arrangement and conditions
7- Ensure rotation plan is understood
8- Relieve personnel in the hot zone when ordered by the IC or Sector Officer.
