Define BFES practices.
Includes all BFES policies and procedures, SOGs, memos, the collective agreement, schedules and any other departmental literature.
High Risk Training may include, but are not limited to:
Any practical training evolutions that involve putting personnel in positions that might risk their lives, ie live-fire training, flashover, confined space training, high level training, trench rescue training, water and ice training.

What is the teacher to student ratio for high risk training sessions?
The instructor in charge shall ensure that a teacher to student ratio of 1:5 shall not be exceeded for all persons involved in live-fire/high-risk training
What needs to be done before a high-risk training evolution is conducted?
A briefing shall be conducted that will discuss the hazards involved, the elements of the training being practiced/demonstrated and contingencies in case of an emergency
