Ahaṃ Buddhamhā dhammaṃ uggaṇhitvā dhammena loke jīvissāmi.
Having learnt the dhamma from the Buddha I will live righteously (dhammena) in the world.
Ahaṃ amaccehi saddhiṃ dhammena dīpaṃ pāletuṃ bhūpālaṃ ovadissāmi.
I will advise the king to rule the island righteously with his ministers.
Āsanamhi sāṭakaṃ ṭhapetvā kumāro nahāyituṃ udakaṃ otarissati.
Keeping the garment on the seat the child will enter the water to bathe.
Tumhe dhammaṃ sutvā Tathāgate pasīdissatha.
Having heard the doctrine you (pl.) will become pleased with the Tathāgata.

Uyyāne rukkhā candassa ālokena nahāyissanti.
The trees in the park will bathe in the light of the moon.
Dārakā rukkhesu phalāni khādante suke passituṃ icchissanti.
The children will like to see the parrots eating fruits on the trees.
Paṇḍitamhā pañhe pucchante putte disvā tvaṃ pasīdissasi.
You (sg.) will be pleased seeing your sons asking questions from the wise man.
Mayaṃ dīpamhā āgacchantā vejjā homa /bhavāma, tumhe dīpaṃ gacchantā ācariyā hotha/bhavatha.
We are doctors coming from the island, you are teachers going to the island.
So mūlaṃ ādāya / gahetvā bhaṇḍāni kiṇituṃ āpaṇaṃ gamissati.
He will take money and go to the shop to buy goods.
Dārako pānīyena pattaṃ pūretvā odanaṃ bhuñjantassa yācakassa dassati.
Having filled the bowl with drinking water the child will give it to the beggar eating rice.
Puññaṃ labhituṃ ākaªkhantā manussā loke manussānaṃ rukkhe ropessanti.
Men wishing to get merit will plant trees for people in the world.
Dhanaṃ pariyesantā asappurisā gāmesu dhammena jīvante kassake pīḷessanti.
Searching for wealth wicked men will oppress farmers living righteously in villages.
