Safety category 1 buildings are designed for earthquake and other design basis events. These buildings are:
Containment, AB, fuel handling building, main steam tunnels, river screen house(portion housing ESW intake), sx cooling towers, deep well enclosure
Unrestricted Area (10CFR20.1003)
- An area, access to which is neither limited nor controlled by the licensee
Restricted Area (10CFR20.1003)
- An area, access to which is limited by the licensee for purposes of protection of individuals against undue risks from exposure to radiation and radioactive materials
Exclusion Area (10CFR100.3)
- that area surrounding the reactor in which the reactor licensee has the authority to determine all activities, including exclusion or removal of personnel and property from the area.

10CFR100.11—An area of such size that an individual located at any point on its boundary for two hours immediately following onset of the postulated fission product release would not receive a total radiation dose to the whole body in excess of 25 rem or a total radiation dose in excess of 300 rem to the thyroid from iodine exposure.
10CFR50.67 (AST)—An individual located at any point on the boundary of the exclusion area for any 2-hour period following the onset of the postulated fission product release, would not receive a radiation dose in excess of 0.25 Sv (25 rem) total effective dose equivalent (TEDE).

Control room dose during DBA?
After DBA (LOCA), CR WB dose for the duration of the accident will not exceed 5 REM or its equivalent (This includes ingress and egress as per the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix A)
