Purpose of WS system
Provides cooling water loads which are not safety related and not essential to the safe shutdown of the plant. Also supplies water for chem add system, CW pump seals and CW pump oil coolers.
Main generator load limit:
Hydrogen cooler OOS
GC cooler OOS
With 1 hydrogen cooler OOS, limit load to 80% of rated.
With 1 GC cooler OOS, limit load to 75% of rated.
Generator rated at 31, 431 amps.
WS pumps are placed in _______ if the _______ bus is to be re-energized from ESF bus.
