Ondansetron Mechanism
Medscape:
A selective 5-HT3-receptor antagonist which blocks serotonin, both peripherally on vagal nerve terminals and centrally in the chemoreceptor trigger zone
Has no effect on dopamine receptors and therefore does not cause extrapyramidal symptoms
