CT Protocols:
Moderate to severe hyperkalemia
Calcium channel blocker (CCB) overdose
Risk of tissue damage with extravasation - Ensure IV/IO patency.

Capital:
Hypocalcemia, Hyperkalemia, Hypermagnesemia, Beta-blocker toxicity, Calcium channel blocker toxicity

A

CT Protocols:
Bradycardia with suspected hyperkalemia or CCB OD
1 gm IV/IO over 5-10 minutes
Cardiac arrest with suspected hyperkalemia
1 gm IV/IO
Hyperkalemia
1 gm IV/IO over 5 minutes, ensure IV/IO patency; May repeat once after 5 Min.
