physical condition of patient

DNR- if the DNRC is valid personnel shall provide interventions or therapies considered necessary to provide comfort or alleviate pain. this may include
-oropharyngeal suctioning -oxygen

- obtain information regarding medical history
- assist responding ambulance personnel and emergency agencies as required

- the captain in charge will fully document the event in the remarks section of the MAR and document the serial number of the DNRC

DNR- in the unlikely event where a valid DNRC is not presented and the patients family of caregiver state that the patient has a DNRC and they refuse you access to patient
remain on scene until a ambulance arrives to transfer care
