Forcible Entry-
if access cannot be made through normal meas , Forcible entry should occur if: (4)
- there are visible signs of fire
- there is a visible, steady uninterrupted water flow
- there is an obvious potential for an immediate danger to life or property (ie strong odour flammable gas)
- there is a reasonable possibility that a medical emergency printed the alarm activation

the IC shall notify the Fire Control anytime
Forcible entry has been used to gain access to a premise

when notified that Forcible entry has been used to gain access to the secured premise, Fire control shall (3)
- peel regional police
- the alarm monitoring company
- the on-duty PC

when personnel have attended an occupancy and no key-holder was met, a follow up visit should occur either by on-duty fire personnel or a fire prevention officer within a reasonable time period in order to:
- update key holder lists
- ensure the issued “NTR” has been received and understood
- advise the owner/occupants or their replacement regarding the correction of their system deficiencies
- make the owner/ occupant aware of the key-box system
- your the premise for familiarization purposes and answer any questions
