LOTO for repair or maintenance requires the area to be locked out and tested before anyone makes entry

Machine rescue- in the event of obvious death to the victum
the machinery/equipment shall not be altered, tampered with or moved without approval from PRP or MOL

to the machinery in the incident shall be shut off or controlled prior to proceeding with extrication

Machine rescue- IC shall ensure the following notifications are made(3)
- PRP
- Peel region EMS
- Ontario MOL (responcibility of PRP)

Machine rescue- IC must ensure (6)
- notification made
- onsite expertise utilized
- RSO established and announced
- ISO established and announced
- Considerations should be made to requesting additional squads
- Ensure zones established
-SOG 7-10 Machine Rescue-
Machine Rescue- RSO shall ensure (5)
- all moving parts of the machinery involved are secured or controlled
- All energy sources to the machinery involved are controlled and managed
- Assist the IC with development and implementation of the Incident Action Plan
- complete Machinery rescue worksheet as required
- supervise rescue activities
