Structure Fire- First alarm responsibilities may include (17)

- develop IAP
- assign sectors as required
- protect onscene personnel and civilians by isolation and evacuating the scene as required
- initiate fire attack
- initiate primary search and rescue
- establish a tactical plan for ventilation

- setup a RIT at the required level
- provide exposure protection
- review and preplan of structure where available
- relay the arrival of other services to fire control
