in order to qualify to write promotional exams for captains (4)

Answer 1

• Have served a minimum of 5 years 1rst class firefighter
• have served at least 2 of the river years in the division immediately prior to exam
• successfully complete exams and test set for purpose of establishing promotion
• Dec 31 on the year of the exam shall be used for purpose to determine eligibility for promotion and at calculate seniority marks

For each full year of service in the tank below that applied for, excluding the first 5 years,

an additional 1% will be added to a maximum of 4%

1% will be added to a cap of 9%
