sequence for hitting a hydrant,
A
- obtain hydrant bag
- remove the supply line
- proceed past hydrant 3 meters
- loop the hose around the hydrant
- signal driver
- watch hose come out of bed
- when appartues stops attach a 65mm hydrant to a 65mm hydrant Port
- open hydrant fully by turning the stem counter clockwis-e, flushing briefly by opening and then closing 65mm gate
- personnel are then to remove the cap from the steamer Port (largest outlet 100mm) and attach the supply line from the apparatus to steamer port
- when the driver request water, open the hydrant to charge supply
- proceed along the supply line to the apparatus checking the line and couplings
- lengths of supply line shorter than 30m must be laid flat to ensure there are no twists
- if the situation dictated the officer in charge may electronically to utilize one or more 65mm hydrant Port instead of the 100mm steamer port

B) Green = 3780 to 5675 L/MIN
C) Orange = 1900 To 3780 L/MIN
D) Red = LESS than 1900 L/MIN
