- decon officer
- safety officer
if possisble a hazmat technicial or senior team member shall be utilized

Hazmat IC- Reference the ERG for appropriate evacuations distances if required. The IC shall determine the priotiy for the evacualtions using

Entry Officer- shall be responsible for (14)
- All aspects of entry into the hot zone
- ensuring proper PPE is chosen and proper donning of PPE
- Ensuring entry and back-up teams are established and in place prior to entry with a minimum of 2 personnel
- A plan is in place and has been communicated to the entry and backup teams
- Direct communications with entry team
- relays communication from entry team to HSO and IC
- Reports to HSO
- Briefed by HSO as to assignments of entry teams
- Organizies and assigns all persons designanted tot eh entry sector
- oversees the recon team, entry team, backup team and RIT
- Responsible for the overall tasks of those assigned to enter the HOT zone
- Recommends actions to be taken by the entry teams to mitigate the situation
- Tracks time on air for entry teams
- Maintains a log for all personnel assigned to the entry sector

Decon Officer- shall be responsible for (9)
- reports to the HSO
- Briefed by the HSO as to the assignments of the entry teams
- organizes and assigns all persons designated to the decon sector
- selection of decontamination level
- the decontamination area is properly prepared
- Ensuring Decon is properly preformed
- ensuring doffing of PPE
- ensure proper handling of all contaminated equipment and clothing
- maintains communications with the safety, entry and HSO

Safety Officer-` shall be responsible for (8)
- reports to the HSO
- ensures zones are established and communicated to on scene personnel
- ensures zones are marked and guarded as required (peel regional police may be utilized)
- briefed by the HSO as to assignments of all sectors
- ensures identification and analysis of products of involved has been completed and communicated to the HSO
- Ensures a hazard risk analysis has been completed
- maintains communications with entry, decon, and HSO
- Overall scene safety

Research and Information sector- shall be responsible for (2)
- conducting any research required
- Coordinate with 3rd party’s (Canutech, etc)

Other considerations- Personnel shall not
eat,drink,smoke, chew gum, or void in areas that may be contaminated

Other considerations- Personnel who have potentially been exposed to a hazmat shall not
eat, drink, smoke,or void until after decontaminating

Other considerations- Personnel and/or apparatus will be
Out of service, until the HSO and the IC are satisfied that a thorough decon has taken place

Other considerations- consult chemical specialists and/or subject matter experts
to determine if decontamination clean up procedures are adequate

captured in an over pack drum, sealed and left on scene for a third party vendor clean up crew`

Other considerations- All equipment and PPE will be washed and dried in a well ventilated area before going back into service. personnel washing the equipment
shall wear PPE. if a greater level of protection is required the equipment shall not be brought into a station

Other considerations- bunker gear exposed to contaminants shall be
handled as outlines in SOG 26-04
