A
  1. Asymptomatic abdominal mass
  2. Abdominal distension
  3. Haematuria, fever, and hypertension

How is a Wilm’s tumour diagnosed?

A
  1. Any child with an abdominal mass - USS
  2. CT/MRI to further stage the disease
  3. Transcutaneous histological biopsy for diagnosis

What is the management for a Wilm’s tumour?

A
  1. Nephrectomy 1st line 4 unilateral tumours followed by chemotherapy
  2. Bilateral - chemotherapy then excision of masses to preserve function
