What are the causes of persistent vomiting in children?
GORD, pyloric stenosis, malrotation or obstruction, cow’s milk protein allergy, UTI, raised ICP, renal failure, adrenal failure.
What are the general investigations for vomiting in children?
- FBC, U&Es, LFTs, urine dip and MCS
- Stool MCS
- USS abdomen, pH studies
- Endoscopy
- Metabolic screen
- MRI head
