infant prone.

Hydrocephalus:
A
Rapidly increasing head circumference, persistent downward gaze (“sun-setting” sign),and high-pitched cry are signs of hydrocephalus in infants.

Preventing increased ICP:
A
Elevate the HOB 30 degrees and decrease stimuli by dimming lights and clustering care.

VP shunt complications:
A
Monitor for VP shunt complications, including signs of infection like fever,
abdominal distension, and poor feeding.
