The word “magàri” in Italian has many roles in Italian!
My favorite is the use of the word “magari” as an interjection (un’interiezione).
As an interjection, “magari” means “I wish”or “If only”.
a. Amo la nuova macchina che hai appena acquistato! Hai vinto la lotteria?
→ I love the new car you just bought! Did you win the lottery?
