A
- sensory/afferent division
- motor/efferent division
6
Q
What is the sensory/afferent division of PNS?
A
- has sensory receptors that detect stimuli
7
Q
What is a stimulus?
A
- change in internal or external environments
8
Q
What is the motor/efferent division of PNS? (2)
A
- nerve convey impulses away from CNS
- innervates (supplies nerves to) effectors = muscles and glands (endo or exo)
