What can Descartes argument be summed up as?

A

Descartes suggests that for something to be perfect we ae thinking of it cannot be done ourselves must be an innate characteristic that we have inherited- this for him is god. The idea of god must ova come from somewhere as it is an intrinsic idea and not developed for ourselves.
