A

Dysphagia
General Malignancy symptoms= fatigue, wt loss, anaemia

How is adenocarcinoma diagnosed?

A

OCG + Biopsy

Staging: Invasion of oesophagus wall T, Nodes N & Mets M
CT scan: local staging/pulm mets
MRI: local staging
Endoscopic US: investigate nodes, mets more accurately than a CT
Laproscopy
PET- confirms distant mets

A
Surgery 
Pre-operative (neo-adjuvant) chemoradiation therapy 
Palliative therapy 
Chemoradiation alone
