What is a miscarriage?
Expulsion of fetus before the 20th week of pregnancy
What is stillbirth?
A fetus that has died is born after the 20th week of a pregnancy
What is an ectopic pregnancy?
Zygote implants in the Fallopian tube, abdomen, ovary, or cervix
What is preeclampsia?
High blood pressure in mother
Prevent placenta from blood
Low birth weight and complications
What is Rh incompatibility?
Mother’s immune system reacts to the fetus’s blood due to an incompatibility in type
What is gestational diabetes?
Diabetes that occurs during pregnancy
