Everyone is susceptible to STIs
Those at a higher risk include those who become sexually active at an early age, have multiple sex partners, and engage in sex with high risk individuals
What are ways to prevent the spread of STIs?
Practice monogamy
Correct and consistent use of protection (latex condoms)
Testing even with no symptoms
Communicate honestly with partners about sexual past
Avoiding drugs and alcohol
