Transfer Pump Auto Stop:*
System Flow < 50 gpm and
Jockey Pump Running
*Only if pump was started automatically.
If a pump is manually started, it will automatically stop on the following conditions:
System flow < 250 gpm (FSL-3046)
and
Three position switch in the A/B position.
When do all 3 pumps trip?
All four DWSTs drop below 19%.
When does the demin water Transfer Pump Auto Start:*
Low Demin Water Header Pressure (100#)
*To start automatically on system demand, the following switches must be aligned as follows:
• Pump selector switch must be selected to either that pump or in the A/B position.
• Pump control switch in automatic.
List Major Demin Components.
- 4 Storage Tanks – 50,000 gal(each)
- 1 Jockey Pump – 50 gpm
* Normally runs to maintain system full and pressurized (~125#) - 2 Transfer Pumps – 200 gpm (normally both in auto (AB pos))
Flow path from trucks.
Return from the trucks goes through the mixed bed demins to remove trace impurities before getting sent to the DWSTs.
