A state whose political or economic system has become so weak that the government is no longer in control

Yes but it does not function well and often control in non-existent

What is the cause of Somalia being a failed state?
A
Was owned by UK, France and Italy but after WW2 sections were given independence but the french area didn’t want to form a combined nation so Somalia and Djibouti formed
Population was used to three different governments not one so didn’t know who to listen to

Establishment or terrorist groups, powerful wealthy individuals or militant groups
