• Left ventricle dilated, possible LA dilation also?
• Valves look thickened and knobbly valve leaflets

• Contractility looks okay but can see splashes of ‘regurgitation’?

• Looks normal, all 3 valve leaflets and cusps are symmetrical
• Auricular appendage looks more like tadpole not slug
• LA also the correct size

• Possibility of ‘smoke’ in atrium, where blood has regurgitated from the ventricle through disease valves.

• Hypertrophic Cardio Myopathy (HCM)
• External diameter remains normal, but lumen is tiny
• LV lumen small and hypertrophy of wall
• Atria are absolutely massive
