What is AV node block?
A
A type of node block in which conduction between the atria and the ventricles is impaired where there is partial or interruption of the impulse from the atria to the ventricles

What occurs in complete AV node block?
A
The atria are depolarizing which is seen in the ECG as the P wave but the signal is not being transmitted through the damaged AV node to the ventricles and the bundle of his instead stimulates contraction of the ventricles
