Chinese rebellion that resulted in much poverty and caused many Chinese to emigrate to America or other countries

famine in Ireland that resulted from the failing of potato crops that resulted in many Irish emigrating

British government branch dedicated to sending officials to colonies
Colonization Society
Japanese society that encouraged emigration and exporting goods to increase Japanese influence and develop colonies. This led to anti-Japanese sentiment around the world
