A

Both are anti-natalist policies.
Voluntary Policies: The government offers couples various incentives to have fewer children.
Coercive Policies: The government actively punishes people for having too many children

What are pronatalist policies?

A

Intended to increase the number of children born, increasing fertility rates
Usually includes media campaigns to encourage couples to have more children, generous maternity, paternity leave from work, or even tax breaks for couples with higher amounts of children.
Usually found in countries who are in stage five of the DTM
Can be controversial as it cannot be guaranteed these work
