I’ve been trying to watch a lot of Chinese content lately, but those cheesy romantic soap operas really put me off, and it’s hard to find some really good crime or suspense shows. But I’m watching “The Story of the Pearl Girl” on Netflix right now. Have you heard of it? It’s definitely one of the best Chinese dramas I’ve ever seen. The plot is super good, and the heroine is very inspiring. I really like it. It reminds me a little bit of the movie “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”.
