What happens in the epididymis?
sperm mature and remain until they are expelled outside of the body

How can sterility occur in males?
when the testes do not descend into the scrotum

accessory organs: epididymis, vas deferns, urethra
What is the structure of the epididymis?
tightly coiled tubes
Where is the epididymis located?
superior end of the testes; travel inferiorly along the posterior lateral side of the testes

20 days
What occurs once the sperm are fully matured?
propelled into vas deferens by muscular contraction
Where is the vas deferens located?
spermatic cord
