What are the major components fed by Unit 1 AC/DC power?

What are the two primary transformers that support Unit 1 Power and where are they located?
TR12 - Located north of Unit 1TB
TR13 - Located near PAF
What are the 4kV buses for Unit 1 and where are they located?
Bus 11 and Bus 12; Both are located north of the WEC
What needs to happen to the loads associated with Bus 11 and 12 prior to a swap from TR 12 to TR13, and WHY?
All loads need to be shed (disconnected) because a Dead Bus Transfer is needed. The transformers are 30 degrees out of phase (Wye-delta vs. Wye-delta-Wye)
Which Buses are normally fed from Bus 11?
Bus 14, Bus 16, SBO Buses 61 & 71
What Buses are normally fed from Bus 12?
Bus 15 and Bus 17.
Where are the Unit 1 Battery and Chargers?
517 by domestic water accumulator
What is used to charge the U1 Battery and how a ground monitored?
MG Sets off PC5A and PC6A, Lightbulbs on the pane, brightness monitored for ground.
How do you close TR13 on bus 11?
You cannot when Bus 12 is closed on Bus 11.
Interlock exists in the form of “b” contact on TR-12 feed breaker. If the feed breaker is closed, the “b” contact MUST be open, and prevents TR13 feed breaker from closing .
What are the limits for TR 14, 15, 16, & 17?
Limited to 750KVA or 105A
What are the primary and alternate supply for Bus 14?
Main: Bus 11 via TR14; Alt: Bus 15
What are the primary and alternate supply for Bus 15?
Main: Bus 12 via TR 15; Alt: BUs 14
What are the primary and alternate supply for Bus 16?
Main: Bus 11 via TR16; Alt Bus 17
What are the primary and alternate supply for Bus 17?
Main: Bus 12 via TR17; Alt Bus 16
What are Bus 61 & 71 (where) and what is their power source?
SBO. Powered from Bus 11 off line to Bus 16. Cannot be fed through Bus 16 if Bus 16 fed through Bus 17.
