What is the purpose of a circuit breaker?
A
To control power flow,
minimize damage to plant equipment,
maintain system continuity to maximum degree practical upon loss of power supply.

What are the indicating light colors for a tripped and closed breaker?
A
Field: Green is open, Red is closed.
MCR: Depends on normal configuration. Green is normal.
