TB Vent Flashcards
WHat is the purpose of TB Vent?
Maintain temps between 65F and 120F
WHat are the general intended flow/pressure characteristics for TB Vent?
Flow from least to most contaminated w/ a dp of -0.25” WC between clean areas and areas potentially contaminated to prevent leakage out.
What will cause the trips of all TB Fans?
High Pressure (+2.2"WC) trips supply fans Lo Pressure (-2.7"WC) trips all exhaust fans Lo Flow trips - w/ standby fan autostart
What are the supply fan power sources for N and S Turb Building Vent?
N Supply: A/C on 25, B on 26
S Supply: A on 28, B on 29
How many supply fans are there for the three systems?
3 for North
2 for South
3 for East
How many exhaust fans are there for the 3 TUrbine Building Vent Systems?
3 for North and South - Shared
3 for East
What are teh power supplies for North and South Turb Build Vent Exhaust Fans?
A - Bus 25
B - Bus 26
C - Bus 27
What are teh power sources for the East Tb Vent Fans?
ALL 6 (3 supply, 3 exhaust) powered by MCC 26-4
WHat alternate purpose can teh E. TB Vent Supply?
Can provide Cooling/Purge Air for AEER when needed (Backup to AEER Vent)
How is TB Vent System Monitored for Radiation?
The North and SOuth Exhaust to the 2/3 Chimney, which is monitored by the SPING. This is a major source of dilution air.
The East TB Vent is not monitored
WHat actions are needed to start a TB Vent Fan?
Hold Closed for 45 seconds - this bypasses low flow trips when held in closed.
Where does N/S TB Vent Exhaust to?
E TB Vent?
N/S exhausts out 2/3 Chimney
E Exhausts out north side of building (OR THROUGH RECIRC)
What areas are fed by N/S TB Vent?
CCSW/Cond Pp Areas, Clean Dirty Oil Tank Room, general TB areas
What powers the CCSW/Cond Area Vent?
MCC 25-2
What powers the D Heater Area Booster Fan?
MCC 26-4
