Anterior relations

A
  1. Liver inferior surface (left lobe and quadrants lobe): related to area adjoining lesser curvature
  2. Diaphragm:
    Related to stomach upper left part
  3. Anterior abdominal wall:
    Related to stomach lower part
    All above structures are separated from stomach by peritoneum greater sac

Posterior relations

A

4 organs and 4 related structures
1. Anterior surface of pancreas body and splenic artery above it
2. Left kidney anterior surface and left Suprarenal gland above it
3. Spleen visceral surface and diaphragm left crus above it
4. Transverse colon and tranverse mesocolon above it
All above mentioned structures are separated from stomach by peritoneum lesser sac except spleen which is separated by it by greater sac
