- Fan shaped peritoneal fold
- Extend from peritoneum covering small intestine to posterior abdominal wall

- 6 inches long
- Extend obliquely downwards and to right from duodenal flexure to ileocaecal junction

- Right Psoas major
- Right genitofemoral nerve
- Right gonadal artery
- Right ureter - Mesentery central part is the longest part about 20 cm when measured from its root to its intestinal border
