Insertion

A
  1. By fleshy fibers into anterior 1/2 of iliac crest outer lip
  2. By aponeurosis into xiphoid process, linea alba, symphysis pubis, and pubic crest
  3. Its lower free border is folded upon itself forming Inguinal ligament which is attached to pubic tubercle medial and ASIS lateral
