Incontinence r/t intrinsic sphincter deficiency

A
  • Relevant to many prostatectomy pts after discharge and removal of their foley 7-14 days after surgery. patients are usually discharged after 2 day stay.
  • Teach/reinforce pelvic muscle exercises (kegels) beginning with 5-10 repetitions and advacing to 35-50 per day
