Evidence integrated into theory = validity
Researchers interested in beliefs, opinions and experiences

Weaknesses
A
Data gathered is researcher bias
Selectively sample data = force data to support theory, unintentionally miss important evidence
Reliability = likely another researcher coding same data could come yo a different conclusion
Very long time to gather and analyse
Takes a lot of skill
Use grounded theory to perform thematic analysis = need to know about world to use grounded theory
