What's the point of blood types? Flashcards
Perfectionist
People who want everything to be perfect & demand the highest standards possible.
For blood type A, generally it is thought they are perfectionist.
There is even a word called ‘blood harassment’, which is used to describe hostility towards people from a certain group considered to be selfish.
Stubborn
Determined to do what you want to do & reluctant ( unwilling ) to change your mind.
40% are sensitive, anxious, 30% are curious & stubborn. 10% are creative ABs.
Woe betide somebody
Informal British expression said when there will be trouble for some, or even someone will be punished if they do a particular thing.
But woe betide the 20% type B because they have far less desirable personality.
She thinks that like horoscopes there is no scientific basis for a connection between blood types & personalities.
Immune system
The organs, cells & processes which protect the human body from infection & illness.
Blood types are kind of stickers or chemical markers which support our immune system.
Pathogens
Any small organism, such as virus or bacteria that can cause disease.
Those chemical markers can identify foreign bodies like pathogens.
The variety of blood types seem to be a result of different bodily response to pathogens.
Blood transfusion
Medical procedures in which blood is taken from one person & put into another person’s body.
Blood of the same type is needed in blood transfusion.
The high demand for type O blood which can be given to anyone, generous type O’s.
I’ll settle for being curious, stubborn & generous.
